Celery monster

I'm making stir fry and so cutting up lots of veggies. In the flurry of chopping, I dropped a piece of celery on the floor and didn't notice it.

Pumpkin came into the kitchen and as soon as he saw the celery he got a fat tail and started walking kinda sideways (like a crab) to get around it. I wonder what he thought it was?
